Is Calculator Allowed In PMP Exam?
Yes, you can use a calculator during the PMP certification exam. The calculator must be any four-function electronic or handheld electronic device that gives results to four decimal points. Cell phones and smartphones are not allowed. To prevent cheating, a candidate will be mandated to turn in their calculator after taking the exam.
To perform, you can use the calculator built into your computer or ask the Pearson VUE staff to provide you with a calculator to complete the calculations. You borrow a calculator which doesn't have any special programs.
You will need to make some simple calculations for the PMP certification exam. However, you don't need anything complicated.
Note: You will not be able to bring your calculator into the test room. You must deposit all personal items in a locker before entering. You will keep the key to the vault.

The Project Management Institute (PMI) has made it easy for you to ensure continuing education through an online version of its exam, taking advantage of the same technology as the in-person version.
The PMP Exam will be available anywhere and everywhere. You can take the exam whenever you want, day or night.

One of the major concerns for everyone taking the PMP is whether or not the online proctored testing is secure.

To ensure the safety of candidates, PMI has implemented several security features, including:

How is the PMP score calculated?
When you take the Project Management Professional certification exam, how well you do determine whether you pass or fail. Unfortunately, PMI doesn't include the passing score or formula to calculate scores in its Project Manager Professional Certification Handbook. Some experts believe they're using a percentile system to determine scores, but there's no way to know.
No one knows who grades the papers or how this grading is done. For example, the PMI currently grades the documents on a four-point scale for three test domains, but there are no explanations for how points are awarded.
The score for PMP Exam in 2022
The passing score of the PMP has not been made public by the Project Management Institute (PMI). However, here is an extract from the PMP Handbook:
"The passing score for all PMI exams is determined by sound psychometric analysis. PMI uses subject matter experts – project professionals from around the world and many different disciplines – to help determine how many questions you must answer correctly to pass the exam. Each scored question on the exam is worth one point, and your final score is calculated by totaling the points you have earned on the exam."
This means that each candidate will have unique questions, and thus, the candidate's score will not be the same. Furthermore, because the candidates have different questions, some candidates may get straightforward questions while others get more challenging questions. With this information, we can adjust the scoring system to ensure a fair mechanism for passing the exam.
The PMP exam has 180 questions from three different domains. The Domain Content Outline explains the nature of these domains in detail and shows what percentage of questions will come from each.
